ANNUALLY:

  • Flush out tank
  • Remove burner assembly and clean
  • Check gas connections for leaks and corrosion
  • Inspect venting for clogs
  • Check proper flame and lighting
  • Check ignitor
  • Check thermocouple
  • Inspect T&P relief valve

PERIODICALLY:

  • Inspect water line connections to the tank
  • Inspect shut off valve to the tank
  • Look for proper ignition and turn off
  • Smell for possible gas leaks
